Architects Count on Concrete Masonry Solutions for University of Lynchburg

Ceremony At Lynchburg University's Westover HallArchitects specified load-bearing concrete masonry units in the design of Westover Hall as they are fireproof, aesthetically pleasing, robust, durable, yet cost-effective, and have a lifespan of 50+ years.

Boxley Block, Brick & Hardscapes was proud to work with Lynchburg-based Dominion Seven Architects and Jamerson-Lewis, the project construction management firm, as well as local mason contractors, Holman Masonry and MH Masonry on the university's largest residence hall.

The project utilizes fireproof load-bearing concrete masonry walls and pre-cast concrete flooring to provide a beautiful and cost-effective structure to stand the test of time.
