BBH Centers Embrace Giving Spirit This Holiday Season

When we dropped off our donations, Reservist David Braswell said the Lynchburg campaign would support over 4,000 children this year. That is a significant increase from last year’s total of 3,236 children served and over 10,000 toys distributed. Those who donated toys entered for a chance to win a $50 Honey Baked Ham gift certificate, and we selected one lucky winner.

BBH wanted to continue our season of giving after the toy drive and decided work with the Salvation Army once again as bell ringers. We lent five pairs of volunteers to the Red Kettle Campaign – a program that provides 20% of the overall budget for shelter and social service programs.

All our volunteers braved the elements on December 11 at Walmart on Old Forest Road in Lynchburg. We extend our sincerest gratitude to our volunteers, staff, and community members who supported the spirit of the holidays this season.
